Creating a themed summer reading program with your child is an exciting way to study multiple topics. Seaworld’s Adventure Camps start June 7th! This is a great way for your child to get behind the scenes and a close up view of the marine life at Seaworld. The Ocean Explorer Camp is for children in 5th -6th grade. Your kids will be swimming with dolphins, snorkeling in a shark cage through the Shark Encounter exhibit, and even sleeping next to manatees.

These types of camps are not just fun, they are very educational. While your child is having the time of their lives they will also be learning all about the animals they encounter. For instance did you know that baby sharks are called pups or that sharks lay eggs like a bird?
