The Mothers of Invention
Or in this case, also the fathers. If you have ever tapped into your creative side and thought that attaching an iPod player to an automated, robotic carpet cleaner was unique, unfortunately this has already been done. It was Thomas Edison who said “genius is 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration”. If you don’t mind the immense amount of sweating, then perhaps innovation and creation are your foremost fortes.
The brilliant minds of our world have forged all the things around us that we take for granted with pure, unadulterated brain power. Thomas Edison himself is regarded as one of the most famous inventors of all time, even after sandbagging Nikolai Tesla and his majestic discovery of alternating currents. Learned about the great scientists and inventors of this world with our scintillating collection of inventor educational books we have to offer. After you read about iconic figures such as Bell and Einstein, maybe your own proverbial light bulb will illuminate with a spark of genius.

What it Takes to be a Parrothead
If you’re accustomed to waking up under a barstool, being indefinitely heavily tanned, and perpetually craving cheeseburgers, you might already be a “parrothead”. This term was coined a Jimmy Buffet concert in 1985, taking note of the fans wearing Hawaiian shirts and parrot hats. Though it is open to debate how relaxed in nature you can be as a parrothead, the general prerequisite is that you don Hawaiin shirts, flip-flops and board shorts. If you must go to a professional environment, make sure you wear high-end tropical vacation clothing instead.
If you think this is the lifestyle for you, check out our selection of Jimmy Buffet audios and visuals. No matter where you are in the world with these books and CDs, you will begin to feel the cool breeze of waves off the Florida Keys, along with the distant yet distinct aroma of a salted margarita.

Into the Depths of Earth
Do you feel like you’re stuck between a rock a hard place? Well, most likely you’re trapped in a cave. If your helpless, absconded situation leaves you in a rut, at least you can admire the geology of underground caverns. Stalagmites and deep, rare minerals glow and illuminate in the dark of the depths. If you can trek far enough downwards while pandering to immense heat and lack of oxygen, you may find unfathomable flora and ferocious dinosaurs that were famously depicted by the film “Journey to the Center of the Earth”.
Scientists have speculated for centuries about digging a hole from the United States to China in one seamless, well-executed tunnel. Do you ever think about which way becomes up towards the center?
Learn more about the facet of Earth that typically doesn’t meet the eye with our collection of fantastic books dealing with rocks, minerals, and underground passageways. With enough knowledge you may be able to explore the unknown in search of valuable gems or mystical, stalwart dwarfs afflicted by eternal sleep.
