Curious About The Circus?

Posted in Circus Books by Administrator on the October 10th, 2011

It has been determined that the Circus dates back to ancient Rome with many striking similarities to traveling companies today. They featured trained animals, jugglers, acrobats, and protests from PETA objecting to bow-tied penguins jumping through flaming hoops. The bearded lady was also commonly present in the audience so it had no significance being a part of the circus “freak show”. Today, many circuses have evolved into more sophisticated forms of entertainment, such as “Cirque du Soleil”, which has elicited wonder and awe out of people all over the world.

Learn more about the “big top” with one of our great books about circuses. Understand the dynamic relationship a ringmaster has with their docile lion and the commanding tongue of hyberbole they wield for every exciting, breathtaking event. If your only aversion to circuses are clowns, just picture them as your favorite politician or Jersey Shore character and all preconceived worries will subside.
